Most of the receptionists are not no bad but one is lacking in customer service and is blunt and aggressive. She needs to be less direct . She needs to watch herself and I can give as good as I get , and I will do so if I need to! It's so disappointing when gp does not have empathy and understanding with a pacient sometimes feels like talking to brick wall. Maybe it's better to suffer in silence.! I get that they are busy but even so surely a person should be able to go get help if needed! The ngh is a whole lot worse !!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you want an appointment you will get one, but you need to call at 8am on the same day and you will try ringing over and over until you eventually get through as the entire eastern district is doing the same thing.68 calls today before I got through.Everything else is fine once you're in.

I wanted a blood test and I had requested a blood form on Wednesday, they said that check before 6:30pm it should be done but I phoned and it wasnt. They told me to phone tomorrow after 11am which I did and it still wasnt done because the doctor wasnt in, there isnt any excuse for that when there is another doctor and nurse available who could do that job in filling the blood form, it takes minutes probably even seconds to fill it in. Then they told me again to phone on Friday after 11am they again said it should be done by then, guess what, it wasnt. Now the doctor will be calling me anytime today to sort this out. Absolute joke. Would rate it no stars if I could. Plus when the appointment needs booking in the morning they say that they open at 8:00am but they dont answer the phone calls, they answer it 20-30 after 8:00am. Disgraceful.
